Arc fault detection device block AFDD, 1-16 A 230 V for CB and RCBO 1+N 2MW Arc fault detection unit SENTRON 5SM6 for reliable and comprehensive protection for persons, systems and assets from arcing faults. Arc fault detection devices detect hazardous arcs early and switch off safely, before a fire can occur. With their innovative technology, they reliably cover the previous gap in protection left by conventional devices. The design as a block enables the combination with many miniature circuit breakers or RCBOs and thus reduces stocking. The AFD units are available in versions up to 16 A and up to 40 A for 1-pole and 2-pole devices for mounting. The AFD units can only be operated together with an MCB or RCBO.
